End User License Agreement.

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you ("you", "your") and Corestratagems LLC ("Corestratagems", "we", "us", or "Licensor") concerning AD Auditor and any updates, patches, or related documentation we make available (collectively, the "Software"). This Agreement is also presented in-app the first time you launch the Software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and payment of any applicable license fees, Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for internal business purposes only, in accordance with the license type you have purchased (trial, annual, or lifetime) and any quantity or scope limitations stated at the time of purchase.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly prohibits this restriction.
• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or share the Software or your license file with any third party.
• Use the Software for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the Software.
• Use the Software to scan or audit Active Directory environments you are not authorized to access.

4. Nature of the Software

The Software is an informational auditing tool designed to assist in identifying potential Active Directory configuration issues. It is not a security product, a compliance product, or a substitute for professional security review.

The Software:

• Does not guarantee detection of all vulnerabilities or misconfigurations.
• Does not ensure security, compliance with any particular framework, or protection from breach.
• Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for security or compliance decisions.

You acknowledge that all findings produced by the Software require independent verification and professional judgment before action is taken.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing and validating all output generated by the Software before acting on it.
• Any actions taken — including remediation, account changes, deletions, or notifications — based on Software results.
• Maintaining appropriate security controls and policies independent of the Software.
• Ensuring you have the authority to audit any Active Directory environment against which you run the Software.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF RESULTS

THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
• SECURITY BREACHES OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS

ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR ZERO DOLLARS IF THE SOFTWARE WAS PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Licensor and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Software.
• Your violation of this Agreement.
• Actions you take based on the Software's output.
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

9. Data Handling

The Software processes data provided by you (including but not limited to Active Directory query results and HR census files). The Software is designed to operate offline and does not transmit or store such data externally unless explicitly stated in our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable data protection laws when using the Software, including obtaining any necessary authorizations to process the data in question.

10. License Type and Term

Your license type — trial, annual, or lifetime — is recorded in the license file delivered to you upon purchase. Trial and annual licenses expire on the date stated in the license file; lifetime licenses do not expire but apply only to the major version family in effect at the time of purchase.

Free trials are provided for evaluation purposes only and are not licensed for production use.

11. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your license terminates automatically if you breach any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination you must immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession or control. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

12. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and any order confirmations issued at the time of purchase, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Licensor regarding the Software, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

13. Changes to this Agreement

We may revise this Agreement from time to time. The most current version is always available on this page. Material changes will be communicated to active license holders by email. Continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
